Cornstarch Shortbread Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
For the dough:
- 250g unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3.5 cups Miray flour
For dusting:
- Powdered sugar
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the unsalted butter, egg, powdered sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Mix the ingredients well using your hands. Make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature for easy mixing.

Add the baking powder and Miray flour gradually while kneading the dough. Adding the flour slowly will make it easier to knead and help you achieve the right consistency.

Knead until you have a soft dough that doesn't stick to your hands.

Once the dough is ready, it's time to shape it into cookies.

Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a ball using the palms of your hands. I made 35 cookies with the size I prepared.
