Field Crop Cultivation

Vegetable Farming

• Harvesting of early vegetables in greenhouses begins.

• Vegetable seeds are planted in hotbeds. In some areas, seedlings can be transplanted to the garden towards the end of the month. Winter vegetable harvesting continues in warm regions.

• Soil is tilled and fertilized for planting summer vegetables in regions experiencing early spring.

• Irrigation, weeding, and thinning (pruning) are carried out in hotbeds and greenhouses.

• Control measures are taken against various pests and diseases.

• The first early vegetables harvested from greenhouses are packaged and sent to the market.

Viticulture

• Deep plowing (subsoiling) is carried out in areas where vineyards will be established and in existing facilities, and these areas are fertilized.

• Planting of vine cuttings (rooted and unrooted) continues.

• Pruning begins.

• Winter pest control is conducted. Vines are washed with Bordeaux mixture.

Animal Husbandry

• Since animals are kept in the barn, cleaning and disinfection are important.

• Barn feeding is done with various feeds. Various maintenance tasks are carried out.

• Necessary precautions are taken as births begin. Special care and feeding are applied to the offspring.

• When the weather is suitable, animals are taken to pasture.

• Preventive vaccines are administered and medications are used to control animal diseases and pests.

Poultry Farming

• Cleaning and ventilation continue in the poultry houses.

• Necessary precautions are taken for the upcoming hatching season.

• Balanced nutrition is provided through grain and artificial feeding.

• Various medications are administered, and preventive vaccinations against diseases continue.

Beekeeping

• In regions where the climate is suitable, bees are gradually taken out. In cold areas, since the bees are still inside, ventilation should be carefully managed.

• In cold areas, bees should also be fed with syrup.

• Control measures are taken against pests and potential diseases.
