Field Crop Farming

Vegetable Farming

- In some regions, seeds are sown for early vegetables for next year.
- In some regions, irrigation, hoeing, and maintenance of autumn early vegetables continue.
- Diseases and pests in autumn early vegetables are treated and controlled.
- Various vegetables are harvested, packaged, transported to the market, and processed.
Viticulture
- Soil cultivation and maintenance work in vineyards have ceased.
- Precautions are taken against insects that will overwinter under leaves and in crevices. The battle against insect eggs continues.
- Grape harvesting continues until mid-month. Grapes are dried, turned into molasses, or utilized for making vinegar and grape juice.
Animal Husbandry
- Ventilation, cleaning, disinfection, and painting continue in the barns. Repair works are carried out.
- Feeding of the animals continues with various types of fodder. Efforts are made to provide green fodder to the dairy cows.
- Grazing continues in some available pastures. Harvesting of fodder crops takes place in some areas. Silage operations are carried out.

Poultry Farming
- Cleaning, painting, and disinfection work in the poultry houses are continued.
- Various nutritious feeds are given to the chickens. Chickens are allowed to roam in stubble fields and greenery in some places.
- The fight against various chicken diseases continues.
Beekeeping
- Hives are transported to their winter locations in cold regions. They are cleaned and foreign materials inside are removed before being left to rest for the winter.
- Efforts are made to combat diseases that may affect bees.
- Harvesting for honey ends this month. The harvested honey is packaged and sent to the market.
